This cottage for eight has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Bedroom 1 has two full size beds, a three-drawer dresser, and a comfortable chair. Bedroom 2 has two sets of bunk beds, a five-drawer dresser, comfortable chairs, and a nightstand to hold the TV and video game equipment which is available in the office. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, sink, refrigerator, and microwave, as well as an expandable table and chairs. It has its own bathroom with a shower stall.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes for eight, pots and pans, and utensils. We have provided a can opener, a cutting board and steak knives for your convenience. Dish soap is provided, as well as dish towels.

Welcome to Schroon Lake! We are glad you choose to vacation with us and hope that you enjoy your stay at Rowe's Adirondack Cottages. Your comfort and satisfaction are important to us. While you are here, we ask that you please abide by our policies to insure that everyone enjoys their experience. Above all, please appreciate our facility, our neighbors, our other guests, and the integrity of the environment we strive to maintain. We hope to see you again soon!

Check in/Check out: Check in/check out: Check in time is 3:00 PM (ET). Check out time is 11:00 AM (ET). Late check out and early check-in are subject to manager discretion.

Maximum Occupancy: Each cottage has a maximum occupancy. We can accommodate one guest over the maximum occupancy per cottage using a rollaway bed, but only if prior arrangements are made. There is an additional cost of $10.00 for this service.

Minimum Stay: There is a two-night minimum stay on holiday weekends.

Cancellation Policy: Deposits are refundable when cancellation notice is received no less than 14 days prior to scheduled stay, less a 20% cancellation fee. If notified less than 14 days in advance, deposits will be refunded only if room is resold, NO EXCEPTIONS. The 20% cancellation fee applies. Early departures and last minute cancellations are non-refundable. Reservations made less than 2 weeks before arrival date are non-cancelable and will be charged to customer's credit card.

Payment: Payment can be made using cash, AMEX, MasterCard or Visa.

Amenities: All cottages are equipped with a refrigerator, coffeemaker, color TV with cable, alarm clock, and wireless Internet service. (Cottages with kitchens are also equipped with a microwave, toaster, can opener, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, and dish soap). Bed linens and towels are provided, as are toilet tissue, paper towels, trash bags, soap and shampoo. There are no in-room telephones, but there is a telephone located in the office for your convenience. You may make free local calls or use your calling card to make long distance calls.

There is a charcoal grill and a gas grill located outside for your convenience, as well as picnic tables and Adirondack furniture. Feel free to use the fire pit, the horseshoe pit, the clothesline, or the playground.

Other items available: Please ask at the office if you'd like to use any of the following: iron, hair dryer, portable crib, toddler bed, high chair, tennis rackets, video game system and games, DVD/VCR player and movies, filled toy box, puzzles, board games, or card games. New additions: a canoe and 2 kayaks!

What to bring: All you need to enjoy your stay is food, clothing, your beach supplies and your fishing equipment! Charcoal for the grill and other staple supplies can be found at several nearby grocery stores.

Children: Children are always welcome at Rowe's Cottages and we pride ourselves on being family-friendly. (In fact, you may see our children around the premises. Be assured that they are friendly and will be happy to meet you)! We have many items available to families with children - please refer to the list above.

During your stay, we ask that you please be aware of a few things for the safety of your children and the satisfaction of our other guests. For safety reasons, we ask that children be supervised at all times. Please keep children from playing around the fire pit area. Children are welcome to enjoy the property all day long, however we ask that in the early morning hours you ask them to stay away from other cottages so we can respect other guests who might have come here to rest and sleep in. Although we don't anticipate this being a problem, please remember that parents are financially responsible for any damage to the property.

Cottage Service: Daily maid service is not available. We offer a refresher of sheets and towels on the third day of your stay. All dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils and silverware are provided for your convenience. Please leave these items in the cottage upon your departure.

Smoking: Smoking is only permitted in those cottages designated as smoking. Please do not smoke in the office or cottages that are designated as non-smoking. Smoking is allowed outside, but please pick up after yourself when finished. There will be a $50 charge added to your bill if we find evidence of smoking in cottages designated as non-smoking.

Pets: Well-mannered pets are welcome at Rowe's Cottages. Please do not leave your pet unattended. Your pet must be kept on a leash while on the premises. Please walk your pet to the perimeter of the property and please clean up after him or her. No food or water dishes are provided, so please remember to provide your own.

Trash: Trash receptacles are provided at the back of the circular drive for your convenience. Please dispose of all of your trash before you depart. Extra garbage can be deposited in the trash receptacles at any time. Please wash up your dishes, make sure the refrigerator is empty and the stove is off before leaving.
