Welcome to the Adirondacks!
We are fortunate to live on the grounds of this beautiful property and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do. From the majestic white birch trees to the abundant flower gardens, there is natural beauty for all to enjoy.
You may enjoy curling up in a quiet place to read or to enjoy your morning coffee. A stroll around the property might reveal a spot of beauty, a beautiful bird, or the smell of the wild roses growing here.
If you prefer to be more active, you may enjoy the new horseshoe pit or the volleyball/badminton set. We have tennis racquets and tennis balls which you may take to the tennis courts in town. Children are free to use the playground set with the built-in sandbox. If you enjoy the water, the beautiful and free public beach is only a mile away, and we have two kayaks and a canoe available for borrowing, along with a car rack to carry them.
On rainy days, you may enjoy sitting at the game table on the porch, enjoying a game of chess, cards, mancala, or many other games. There is a DVD/VRC combo which you may borrow with videos from our shelf, or you may go into town to rent a movie. For the younger crowd, there are also Nintendo video game units and games available for borrowing.
On nice days, you may choose to barbeque outside, using either the charcoal or the gas grill. Feel free to enjoy your picnic out on the Adirondack style picnic tables.
In the evenings, you may use the fire pit (the wood is provided) to make a bonfire or roast marshmallows. It is a nice way to meet and chat with other travelers.
