Welcome to Schroon Lake, a quaint little resort community nestled in the Adirondack Mountains. We are located just off the Northway (I-87) between exits 27 and 28, along a pristine 9-mile lake. Schroon Lake promises to be an ideal vacation spot, no matter what time of year you visit!
From Rowe's Adirondack Cottages you can walk or drive into town and enjoy the beautiful free public beach, local library, tennis courts and local shops. Take time to visit Higher Ground, an antique store and coffeeshop. There is a movie theater in town, as well as a local grocery market (Grand Union). If you prefer to eat out rather than stay in and cook, there are many great restaurants to choose from.
There is a strong emphasis on the arts during the summer in Schroon Lake, with performances available almost nightly at the Boathouse Theater and the Seagle Colony.
